GBB Weekly Recap

Hello, everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Last week was a great one, reading-wise. I have been enjoying reading like I never before. It is not entirely because the book even though they have been great as well. I’ve just enjoyed reading instead of anything else and it has rarely happened to me. My week is usually filled with other random things I enjoy almost equally although reading is still number one. You can say I am so excited.

I have enjoyed blogging as well despite my busy week. Writing reviews have become more effortless because I enjoyed it. I also have some ideas for blog posts and features which I cannot wait to share. I hope you had a wonderful reading week as I did. I cannot wait to hear what happened in your life last week and books you recommended.

  1. I’m so glad that reading has been so good for you right now! That’s always an awesome feeling.

I actually had a pretty good reading week as well since I ditched the planned reads and reading schedule and went with a series I was dying to read! It’s also a little different to what I would normally read. Sometimes it needs to be done!

Not really a huge reader of contemporaries so sports romance isn’t so much my thing….. I’m thinking though.

Also I haven’t commented on your profile pic but I love that you added one to the blog. It’s gorgeous and I think it personalises it just a little bit.

Hope you have a lovely week and that your reading is as good for you as it was last week!

    • I’ve limited the ARCs and only choose to read the ones I’m in the mood to read or I’m curious about, not because I have to. It feels amazing, Di. I’m starting to enjoy reading again. Reading something different is needed sometimes. I’m glad you did it.
Ahh thank you. The plugin is so lightweight so it doesn’t weight down the blog. I love it.
I hope you have a wonderful week too. ❤️😁😘

  2. I hope you enjoy your new books, and it’s great you’re enjoying reading so much! I’m going through a phase like that too, I forgot how good it feels!

    • I’m trying to not make it (blogging + reading) like a chore. Sometimes it feels so hard to even read a book a week. Glad that last week isn’t the case. I hope you have an awesome reading week. 😁❤️

  3. It was good for me reading-wise too! Mostly because Dewey’s #readathon 😀 did you participate?
Oh, is that a new thing, your bio? I don’t remember seeing your pic before. You are sooooo pretty 🙂 lovely to finally be able to imagine you 🙂

  4. I have several hobbies I cycle through. One of them is reading. I *love* when my mood hits on reading. I’m going to read all of the time anyway, but when my passion is set to reading, it’s the best! It sounds like you are in a similar mood. 🙂

  5. Glad to hear you have been enjoying reading so much Geybie. Lately life has been so busy I haven’t been able to read as much as I would have liked. And sometimes I’m just so tired, I can only sit and watch tv without really watching! Blegh.. LOL!
I’ll definitely need to check out the Outpost. 😉
Have a great week and happy reading.

    • Oh I feel it sometimes, Maureen. I hope you’ll give The Outpost a try. It’s awesome. 😁❤️👍🏻
I hope you have a wonderful week too.

  6. I’m not too big on cover lust, but your ARC Covers all look Amazing and hope they are some wonderful reads(listens?) for you! Way behind on my blog hopping this week, but going to check out your Melanie Harlow review and your Recommend Me Sports – I love a good sports romance 🙂 I hope you have a great week, Geybie and happy reading!! 🙂 <3

  7. I love weeks when reading is just clicking and all I want to do is read! I’m like you and have a lot of other things going but every once in awhile it’s like everything lines up reading wise and it’s so great. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

  8. oh geybie I am so happy to hear that you are reading so much!! That is just fantastic. I love that feeling of loving reading more than anything else!! It very intoxicating. Hope you have a great weekend.

  9. Nice to relish the books and reading, because as we all know sometimes the enthusiasm can die for a while. Haven’t read a lot of sports romances although Susan Elizabeth Phillips does have a series that could loosely be called sport’s romance I guess.

  10. I love this ephases when you’re just in love with reading! The books may not even be all 5 start books… it’s just that the experience is so satisfying and enjoyable. Such a great feeling. I hope it lasts for a good long while. 🙂

    • You’re right, Tanya. The books might not be top favorites but the experience is amazing. It’d been a while since the last time I’d really enjoyed reading. 😁

  11. Kathy Martin

I am a big fan of sports romance and will have to check out your list to see what I have missed. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  12. That’s so great that you are enjoying reading. I love when that happens. I love sports romances. I’m going to check out your post right now. Have a great week!

  13. How to Date a Douchbag, best title ever! Glad to see you have been enjoying writing reviews. They are still my favorite things to read. Have a great week!

  14. Your enthusiasm always makes me smile. I am glad you are enjoying your reading and blogging.
Your new books look enticing. How to Date a Douchbag is a title that can catch the eye although maybe not in such a good way. 🙂
    Happy Reading!

  15. I’ve read the first book in the How to Date a Douchebag series, I had no idea there was other books in the series.

So happy to hear that you had a wonderful reading week and that the books you’ve read have been just as good. Have a wonderful day 🙂

  16. Melissa (My World...in words and pages)

So glad you had a great week! And looks like some great new books there. 🙂 Enjoy!

Yay Geybie I’m so happy you’re on a reading and blogging ‘high’!! That’s the best feeling ever, and it’s so great that reviewing is flowing easier for you and you’re enjoying it more.

Also, I absolutely love your profile pic 🙂 It’s so pretty, and really fits your blog aesthetic.
